When is the best time to travel?
Well, about the right travel time, that's one of those things! There are no "good" or "bad" travel times for South Africa!
Every season has its charm!
In the South African summer (November, December, January and February) it can get very hot - up to 40 degrees during the day and between 15 and 20 degrees at night)
March, April, May, October are warm - around 25-30 degrees during the day, around 10-15 degrees at night);
in the South African winter, June, July, August, September it is most pleasant for Europeans!
During the day between 16 and 25 degrees, at night it can get cold - between 2 and 8 degrees.
The advantage: there are an unbelievable number of events taking place, such as jazz festivals, music events and so on
-it's just not that hot!
It's also not that crowded and you don't have to queue.
The disadvantage: it gets dark earlier - around 5:00 p.m. and later light - around 8:00 a.m.
